The Libyan Coast Guard rescued Saturday 25 illegal immigrants who were on board a rubber boat north of the coast of Zuwara.
The Libyan Coast Guard`s information office said on Saturday that the migrants were of different African nationalities, and included 3 children and 6 women.
It pointed out that those rescued were then transferred to the landing point at the Tripoli Naval Base. They were then handed over to the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency in Tareeq Sikka.
The Libyan Coast Guard has also rescued 185 illegal immigrants north of Garabulli on Saturday morning.
