The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qadirbuh, decided on Tuesday to suspend the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Rapid Transport Company from work.

The decision attributed the suspension to public interest reasons and requirements, pursuant to the provisions of Article 31 of Law No. 20 of 2013 AD establishing the Administrative Control Authority, its amendments, and its executive regulations, without clarifying further details.

Since the beginning of 2024, the Administrative Control Authority has issued suspension decisions against the Chargé d'Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Niger, the Assistant Director of the Office of the Islamic Dawa Society in Niger, the Chargé d'Affairs of the Libyan Embassy in Syria, and three employees of the Ministry of Economy.
