The Head of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, has discussed with the Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qadirbuh, the authority’s role in combating money laundering and recovering stolen and smuggled funds.
According to the High Council of State, Takala called on Qadirbuh to quickly prepare the 2023 control report.
The two sides discussed the issue of the authority joining the Arab Network for Promoting Integrity and Anti-Corruption, as well as the work of the “10th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption,” held in Atlanta, United States of America, from 11-15 December 2023.
Takala stressed his support for the authority’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of oncology patients, provide treatment for them, and collect their data through a unified official system that will be a consistent reference for providing drugs to them in sufficient quantities, according to the council.
