The first batch of trucks loaded with gasoline and diesel arrived on Tuesday at the fuel stations in Sirte, from the Brega warehouse in Misrata, after opening the coastal road linking eastern and western Libya and after a hiatus of more than 17 months.

Sources in the municipality of Sirte told the Libyan News Agency that this batch of fuel trucks belonging to the office of the Rahila company arrived after coordination between the Sirte municipality and the relevant authorities with the Security Arrangements Committee of the Joint Military Committee (5 + 5).

The same sources indicated that a number of other batches of fuel trucks will arrive successively at various fuel stations in Sirte and its suburbs, which are more than 20 fuel stations belonging to four oil service companies, namely Rahila, Libya Oil, Al-Sharara and Highway Services, and the supply will be as usual every day to all stations.
