The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, has convened a meeting with the Education Outcomes Harmonization Committee on Tuesday to discuss strengthening the link between education and the labour market.
Minister Al-Abed emphasized the importance of continuous development of education programs and modernizing scientific specializations in line with the requirements of the national market.
He called for applying entrepreneurship curricula and launching academic qualification programs for the secondary stage, allowing students to choose their specializations and keep pace with the market changes.
The meeting included Saleh Al-Ghoul, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Higher Education Affairs, Taher bin Taher, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Technical and Technical Education for Colleges and Institutes Affairs, and Masouda Al-Aswad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor for Employment Affairs.
