The Presidential Council (PC) Vice President Abdullah Al-Lafi met with Qatar's Ambassador to Libya, Khalid Al-Dosari, to discuss mechanisms for addressing the political deadlock and ways to support the UN envoy Abdullah Bathily's initiative.
The meeting focused on the national reconciliation project and involving all parties in the political process.
Ambassador Al-Dosari praised the PC's efforts to achieve consensus among political parties and its severe steps in the national reconciliation project, expressing Qatar's readiness to support these significant endeavours.
For his part, Al-Lafi commended Qatar's role in supporting a peaceful resolution to the country's crisis.
