Deputy Prime Minister Ramadan Abu Jannah signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday to enhance cooperation between the Southern Development and Reconstruction Agency and the Qatari Future Peak Company, which specialises in mechanical construction.
Abu Jannah emphasised that the agreement would contribute to developing construction through modern techniques benefiting the south and other regions across Libya.
The agreement was signed in Tripoli in the presence of Abu Jannah and Zainab Faisal Al-Yousef, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatari Future Peak Investment Company.
A government statement said the MoU is part of a package of projects that the agency aims to implement to develop the south through such development programs.
Abu Jannah also confirmed forming an engineering team to review the company's advanced construction programs and adopted methods.
