The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, held talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in Istanbul on Saturday, which dealt with regional issues and the planned elections for Libya.
The two sides discussed the latest local and international political developments and compared notes on ways to make the Libyan electoral process a success.
A statement by the HCS media office said that Çavuşoğlu briefed Al-Mishri on his recent meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and the Turkish-Egyptian rapprochement on a vision to solve the Libyan political crisis.
