The newly appointed Syrian permanent representative to the United Nations, Koussay Aldahhak, visited the Libyan mission to the UN in New York.

Libya's representative to the United Nations, Al-Taher Al-Sunni, said on Friday that the meeting discussed ways to enhance coordination and cooperation, bring closer viewpoints between the two countries' missions to the United Nations, and work to unify Arab positions within the framework of supporting issues of common concern.

Last December, Aldahhak was sworn in before Syrian President Bashar al-Assad as Syria's permanent representative to this international organization.
