200 people at risk near Libya were in a boat near the shore of the city of Al-Ajilat, Alarm Phone tweeted.

“People reported that some fell into the sea and drowned. We lost contact several hours ago. Authorities are alerted - a rescue operation is needed now!”, it added.

It also pointed out that some people on board reported that a woman is in labour, while the rescue is not forthcoming although they alerted the authorities, and the European Border and Coast Guard Agency plane also flew over the area.
