Around 100 Ethiopian illegal migrants, both men and women, intercepted in Tripoli. They were skilfully hidden in a truck fully loaded with concrete blocks while they were on their way to Zuwara to commence their journey to Europe. Saturady, 27 June, 2015.

The international non-governmental organization "Alarm Phone Sahara" has accused the authorities in eastern Libya of expelling 463 Nigerien migrants to the desert of their homeland.

According to the organization, the migrants arrived in the city of Dirkou after being transported to the border in cargo trucks.

The organization claims to have gathered its information from local Libyan sources, indicating that the "expelled" migrants were arrested by forces affiliated with Khalifa Haftar on July 18 before being transported to the border.

Alarm Phone quoted one of its officials as saying they were informed about a new wave of expulsions from Libya that could involve more than a thousand people.
