Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has announced his country's intention to establish free zones with neighboring countries, including Libya, Tunisia, Mauritania, the Sahel countries, Mali and Niger.

This came in his speech on the 41st meeting of the Steering Committee of Heads of State and Government of the African Union Development Agency (NEPAD).

Tebboune added that his country is committed to achieving the goals of economic development and continental integration, stressing the importance of working to improve the level of efficiency of African economic integration processes.
