The CEO of Sonatrach Oil Group, Toufik Hakkar, confirmed Sonatrach’s readiness to develop eminent relations with its Libyan partner, in order to lay the foundations for a mutually successful economic partnership and to develop the petroleum and gas industry in both countries.
Hakkar said, during his participation in the Algerian-Libyan Economic Forum, Sonatrach Oil Group has vast experience in various hydrocarbon activities, which can be used in Libya.
It is worth noting that the Algerian-Libyan Economic Forum aims to improve economic and trade cooperation between both countries and to discover opportunities for bilateral partnerships which may arise between the various economic sectors in the two countries.
