The Stability Support Apparatus has detained 12 illegal migrants of various nationalities during patrols at the western entrance to the city of Misrata.

In a statement on social media, the agency confirmed that the migrants were apprehended by its Central Region branch during routine day and night patrols. Legal measures have been taken, and the individuals have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further processing.

The operation is part of a broader national security initiative to combat human trafficking and other criminal activities.

Authorities reiterated their commitment to curbing illegal migration and dismantling trafficking networks profiting from the exploitation of vulnerable individuals.
