Security forces have intercepted an ambulance carrying illegal migrants in what authorities described as an attempt to smuggle them to Tripoli under false pretenses.
According to the Jufra Security Directorate, police at Al-Shuwairif stopped the ambulance, which was carrying migrants posing as critically ill patients. Officials say the suspects had forged medical reports to justify their transfer.
Authorities condemned the misuse of emergency services for illegal activities, calling it a violation of humanitarian principles. They vowed to take strict legal action against those involved.
