The Minister of the Interior, Fathi Bashaga, said he valued the efforts of the Turkish government in supporting the Government of National Accord (GNA), and its ongoing support of the Libyan people during a difficult time.
This came during a meeting on Tuesday with the Turkish ambassador to Libya, Serhat Aksan.
The media office of the Interior Ministry said that the meeting focused on the latest developments in the war waged by Haftar and his mercenaries on Tripoli and the victories achieved by the ‘Volcano of Rage’, in its defeat of Haftar’s militias.
Both sides also discussed the illegal immigration file, amongst other affairs of mutual concern.
