The UN envoy, Abdoulaye Bathily, has stressed the need for all parties to work to ensure holding inclusive and credible elections in Libya that reflect the will of the Libyans.
This came during his meeting with the head of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, during which the two sides discussed the latest developments in the preparation for elections.
“We agreed that the remaining contentious points in the draft electoral laws must be addressed through a constructive and inclusive approach”, Bathily tweeted.
