The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, has discussed with members of the Joint Military Commission (JMC) 5 + 5 the current security challenges, particularly the recent tragic events in Tripoli, and the need for unified and legitimate institutions through inclusive elections.
“Our discussions also addressed critical issues such as accountability and the need for unified and legitimate institutions through inclusive elections”, Bathily said on its X platform page.
