The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, has discussed with the Russian Ambassador to Libya, Aydar Aghanin, observations of various Libyan parties on outcome of the "6 + 6" committee.

This came during a meeting on Friday, in Tunis, where Bathily and Aghanin discussed developments of the political process in Libya, and agreed on the importance of holding elections, according a tweet on UNSMIL twitter account. 

Earlier, Bathily met Kuwait's Ambassador to Libya, Ziad Al-Mashaan, with whom he discussed the United Nations' efforts to hold elections in Libya.

It is to be noted that the “6 + 6" committee, formed by the House of Representatives and the High Council of State to prepare for elections.
