The Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, and the Russian Ambassador to Tripoli, Haider Rashid Aghanen, called on all Libyan leaders to agree on a credible pathway to elections, to advert the serious risks their motherland is facing.
“I met Haider Aghanen, Ambassador of Russian Federation to Libya. We reviewed the political and security situation”, Bathily said on his X platform page.
