Director of the so-called Development and Reconstruction Fund, Belqasim Haftar has met with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Güven Begeç, and discussed issues related to reconstruction and development projects in the country.
A statement from the fund on Friday said that Begeç praised the Benghazi International Stadium, which was inaugurated on Thursday, speaking in particular about the stadium’s design and implementation, describing it as a huge achievement that represents an addition to Benghazi and Libya in general.
The statement also quoted the ambassador as expressing his admiration for the opening ceremony, describing it as unprecedented in the whole of Africa.
