The Sabratha Security Directorate has announced the seizure of a wooden boat intended for human smuggling and a member of a smuggling gang as the gang was trying to set the boat for sail at the eastern coast of the city.

On Thursday, the joint security patrols of the Sabratha Security Directorate raided a human smuggling gang while they were trying to get the boat out, according to a statement issued by the directorate.

The raid resulted in seizing the boat and a car used to tow it, as well as a member of the smuggling gang, after the rest of the gang fled.
