The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has stressed the need for coordination between the Ministries of Economy and Finance and the Central Bank of Libya to discuss a number of tax exemptions on some activities.
This came during his visit on Thursday to the Tax Authority, with the Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Huwaij, to follow up on its plan for the current year 2023.
PM Dbeibah stressed the need to develop the tax system in the country and implement systems supporting the Authority's efforts to prevent tax evasion.
