The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, has stressed the need to launch a national project to maintain and develop the 24 wastewater treatment plants that have been neglected for more than twenty years.

This came during an inspection visit to the General Company for Water and Wastewater, accompanied by the Ministers of Finance, Local Government, Transport and Planning, meeting with the company's management committee and the head of the Housing and Utilities Authority.

PM Dbeibah stressed the importance of the water and sanitation file, which is no less important than electricity, according to a statement by Hakometna platform.
