The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah met on Tuesday with the Turkish ambassador to Libya, Kanan Yilmaz, and the staff of the military attaché at the embassy, stressing the need to strengthen cooperation with Turkey.

The meeting came on the occasion of the end of the term of the Turkish military attaché's work in Libya, as Dbeibah thanked the official for his positive cooperation throughout his work in the country, according to a statement issued by Dbeibah's media office, stressing that Dbeibah reiterated the need to strengthen cooperation with Turkey in the economic, political and military fields.

Libyan Chief of Staff Mohammed Al-Haddad also reaffirmed in his meeting with the Turkish military attaché the importance of military cooperation in training areas with Turkey.
