The Derna Reconstruction Conference, originally scheduled for October 10 in Benghazi, has been postponed to November 1.
A committee formed by the eastern authorities announced the decision, stating that the conference was delayed due to technical reasons.
According to the statement, the postponement was intended to give companies more time to submit effective studies and projects that would contribute to the reconstruction process.
The committee also said it responded to the requests of the flood-affected municipalities and international companies by granting more time for them to participate in reconstruction projects.
