Sources in Ras Lanuf town in the oil crescent region confirmed that a house belonging to a family was hit by an air strike carried out by Dignity Operation air force.

The shelling resulted in the killing of two girls of the family and wounding their parents and brother.

The information office of the so-called Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) of the central region affirmed that the raid targeted the home of a citizen of the region, clarifying that the airstrike was carried out by an MI-35 helicopter that took off from Brega port airstrip.

On Sunday, Dignity Operation aircraft carried out air raids on Ras Lanuf region, apparently in preparation for a military ground operation to retake the oil ports which have been seized by the forces of Ibrahim Jadran since last Thursday.
