The Libyan Tourism Authority’s technical team as well as a team from Yefren municipality have documented 28 places of archeological heritage.
The media office in Yefren municipality said they had taken photographs of archeological places and touristic sites to revive tourism in the area.
The municipality is also considering issuing a map for the area to help tourism.
Last August, the head of the tourism authority and Yefren mayor discussed the needed efforts to help revive tourism in the area.
