A Libyan Airlines flight, carrying the first wave of Libyans stranded in Turkey arrived on Tuesday at the Misrata International Airport from Istanbul, with more than 300 citizens on board.

The Airport Authorities said on its official Facebook page that all technical measures were taken to ensure the safe and healthy return of those stranded, in coordination with the Supreme Committee, set up to handle the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Airport Authorities added that the remainder of return flights, organized through the carrier companies, would continue to return stranded citizens to their homeland.
