The Libyan Football Federation issued a decision on Thursday to dissolve all administrative, technical, and medical staff of the national football teams across all categories.
The federation justified this move as part of a restructuring effort aimed at improving the performance of the national teams and selecting the most suitable personnel for the roles.
This decision comes just days after Libya’s national team missed the chance to top its group in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, following a 1-1 home draw against Angola and a subsequent 3-1 defeat to Cameroon.
