The head of Victims of Tawergha Association, Mohammed Radwan, said on Sunday that the former regime commander, Omar Tantoush, had ordered the Tawergha IDPs in the Naval Academy Camp near Wirshiffana region to recruit their sons within his forces in order to stay in the camp.

Alnabaa TV quoted Radwan as saying that Tantoush stormed the camp with an armed force on Saturday and asked for at least one hundred young Tawerghan IDPs to join him, giving them twenty-four hours to evacuate the camp in case they refused to do so.

When asked about the subordination of his force, Tantoush denied belonging to any of the state's military bodies, according to Radwan.

Omar Tantoush is leading a group of armed men loyal to deposed dictator Gaddafi inside Wirshiffana region.
