A German medical team has arrived in Misrata where it is scheduled to perform 15 surgeries at the city’s medical center this week.
The team specializing in neurosurgery, spinal deformities, and congenital disorders began its visit to the center on Monday, where operations will be carried out according to the cases registered in the center at a rate of three operations per day, according to a statement by the Therapeutic Services Support and Development Agency on its Facebook page.
The statement indicated the presence of Libyan doctors to be trained and qualified to perform delicate operations related to brain and nerve surgeries, spinal deformities, and congenital malformations.
