The Government of National Unity has announced the start of restoration work on 44 historic buildings along major streets in the center of Tripoli.
According to the media office of the Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah the restoration efforts include upgrading lighting and repairing sidewalks to enhance the urban landscape of the area, as they are considered the heart of Tripoli, housing a collection of historic buildings that reflect the cultural and heritage identity of the city.
