The head of the parallel government, Osama Hammad, has denounced the killing of 10 people in the Abu Salim area on February 17, saying, “This is a continuation of the chaos scenario.”
Hammad considered in a post on the “X” platform that there is “continuous tampering as a result of armed groups controlling the reins of power in the capital, Tripoli,” calling on the Libyan Attorney General to investigate the incident.
He stressed that his government is ready "to extend a helping hand to establish security, and control the security situation in the western regions of the country, just as the eastern and southern regions of the country have been secured, which have become safe and stable thanks to the efforts of the armed forces and the Ministry of Interior of the Libyan government."
