The head of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, discussed, on Tuesday, with the French President's special envoy to Libya, Paul Soler, issues related to elections and reconciliation.

The French envoy's visit to Tripoli began with a meeting with Muhammed Menfi, Head of the Presidential Council.

According to the HCS media office, the talks between Takala and the French envoy focused on the political developments in Libya and the Council's efforts on the paths of elections and national reconciliation.

The meeting, which was joined by the French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Mihraje, also touched on bilateral relations and ways to enhance them for the benefit of the two countries.
