The High Council of State Head, Mohamed Takala, on Wednesday held a meeting with the Libyan National Security Advisor, Ibrahim Bouchnaf to discuss potential challenges to the electoral process.

The meeting, which included the HCS Second Vice-President, Omar Al-Obaidi, reviewed the Council's position on the 6+6 Committee outcomes.

The officials attending the session stressed the need for an agreement to move forward towards presidential and parliamentary elections.

They also exchanged notes on the security and political situation, as well as developments in the local and international arenas.
