A member of High Council of State, Bilqasim Qazit, has accused the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame, of contributing to the political stalemate and not realizing any real plan to resolve the crisis in the country.

Qazit said in a press statement that Salame’s action plan is putting a spanner in the works of political change.

He called on both the House of Representatives and the High Council of State to shoulder their responsibilities and stop waiting for a solution from Salame.

Qazit described Salame as someone who is describing the problem yet unable to draw any solutions, as he is floundering and lacks initiatives based on a deep understanding of the current situation.
