A committee from the House of Representatives (HoR) has discussed with a German delegation the possibility of opening a consulate for their country in the city of Benghazi, eastern Libya.

This came during a meeting between the Chairman of the Women and Children’s Affairs Committee in the HoR, Intisar Shennib, her deputy, Fatima Bousada, and the committee member, Aisha Al-Tablaqi, with German Parliament member Tobias Bacherle, the German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Ohnmacht, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting, which was held at the HoR headquarters in Benghazi, discussed many issues and files related to women in Libya, according to the HoR spokesman, Abdullah Bliheq.
