The Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Aguila Saleh, has met with representatives of more than 30 political parties across Libya, in the presence of MP Abdul Hadi Al-Saghir.
During the meeting, the gathered parties demanded the necessity of accelerating the holding of presidential and parliamentary elections in accordance with the electoral laws issued in particular, and the necessity of working to form a single new government that will supervise the holding of elections and support the High National Elections Commission.
They also asked the HoR Speaker to amend Law 29 of 2012 regarding the organization of parties, which will be referred to the HoR Legislative Committee for consideration, according to the HoR spokesman, Abdullah Bliheq.
