The Anti-illegal Migration Agency announced that its patrols had arrested human traffickers in two separate operations in the desert south of Kufra.

Mohammed Ali Al-Fadiel, head of the agency southeastern branch, said on Monday that in the first operation, patrols seized four vehicles used for smuggling, 260 kilometers south of the city, carrying 68 illegal migrants.

Al-Fadiel explained that the second operation took place in the desert, 90 kilometers south of Kufra, where a vehicle transporting 25 illegal migrants was seized. 

He confirmed that all traffickers were arrested and that the migrants were transferred to a shelter center, where they received assistance in preparation for their deportation.
