The mayor of Benghazi Municipality, Saqer Bujwari, has discussed with the Chargé d'Affairs of the Indonesian Embassy to Libya, Dede Achmad Rifai, the opening of a consulate for Indonesia in Benghazi.

This came during the visit of the Indonesian Chargé d'Affaires to Benghazi and his meeting with Bujwari, in the presence of a number of officials, according to a statement issued Thursday, by the Benghazi Municipality.

The meeting touched on aspects of enhancing trade exchange, cooperation in the health and educational fields in coordination with the health sector in the municipality of Benghazi, organizing joint exhibitions, bringing in medical and paramedical personnel from Indonesia, and facilitating the movement of business owners, companies and investors.

The Indonesian Chargé d'Affairs talked about mutual visits between businessmen in Indonesia and Benghazi during the month of October.
