The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has stated that 202 illegal migrants were intercepted in the Mediterranean and returned to Libya between October 15 to 21.
Among the migrants were 10 children and 34 women who were rescued during three separate operations, the IOM added on its X platform.
The total number of migrants who were returned to Libya from the beginning of the year until October 21 reached 12,635 migrants, 933 deaths, and 1,233 missing.
