International Organization of Migration (IOM) staffer Rania Kharma – a Palestinian-Spanish national – was freed in Sabha, southern Libya, on Tuesday, three days after abduction by unknown gunmen.

Sabha security personnel said they spotted her location through a phone call in the area she was in, then they contacted the elders to allow them to enter the area to free her.

Sabha security directorate found on Saturday the Libyan IOM staffer Fayez Khirallah near Sabha city and then found the driver who was with the two IOM staffers on Sunday.
