The Deputy Special Representative for Political Affairs and Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Koury, reviewed Friday, with the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister, Burhanuddin Duran the latest political, security and economic developments in Libya.
UNSMIL said in a brief statement that Koury met with Duran in two separate meetings in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
It noted that the Turkish Deputy Minister’s reaffirmed his country’s support for UNSMIL’s work in facilitating the political process and moving Libya forward towards elections.
