Libya has condemned the attack on a security directorate in the Turkish capital, Ankara, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity said in a statement on Sunday, expressing Libya's solidarity with Turkey in its efforts to fight terrorism.

Libya's Foreign Ministry also reiterated its firm position rejecting terrorism in all its forms, wishing recovery for those injured in the attack.

Two gunmen attacked Sunday morning one of the gates of the security directorate of the Turkish Ministry of Interior in the center of the capital, Ankara, leading to the injury of two police officers and death of the assailants.
