Libyan national football team drew Rwanda 1-1 on Wednesday evening at Tripoli International Stadium for Group 4 of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Libya scored first in the 16th minute by Sobhi Al-Mabrouk, and in the second half, Rwanda scored the equalizer in the 47th minute.
Libya's national team will face Benin on September 10 in the second round of the AFCON qualifiers. The match will be held in Côte d'Ivoire due to the inability of Benin's team to host international matches after the decision of the Confederation of African Football to prevent a number of African countries, including Benin, from hosting international competitions due to the lack of international standards for their stadiums.
