The Director of the Interior Minister's Office, Abdulwahed Abdessamad, and the Head of the Border Guard Apparatus, Mohamed Al-Marhani, held a meeting on Sunday with a European Union delegation headed by the EU Ambassador to Libya.
The meeting discussed the cancellation of the exit visa fine for illegal migrants under the voluntary return program, combating migrant smuggling and human trafficking, and supporting border crossings in accordance with the agreement and partnership with the EU Technical Mission for Border Management.
They also reviewed measures supporting border crossings under the agreement and partnership with the EU Technical Mission for Integrated Border Management (EUBAM).
Furthermore, discussions covered the Mediterranean Migration Forum, which will be held on July 15 of next month.
