Libyan Iron and Steel company is to export 8,000 tons of hot briquetted iron (HBI) to Turkey.

In a Facebook statement Monday, the company said the tanker, Michelle, which will ship the cargo, arrived at the company's port on Monday.

According to the company, the demand for its products is on the rise as it enjoys the customers' confidence and satisfaction in the Turkish market, which is considered one of the largest global markets in the region.

On February 6, the company announced that it had exported 17,500 tons of reinforcing steel on board the tanker Lady Divina to Albania.
