The Libyan Foreign Ministry has confirmed its rejection to reduce its diplomatic representation and halt cooperation with Turkey.

The ministry has clarified that their rejection comes in response to the Arab League statement at the level of Arab foreign minister, demanding Arab countries to stop cooperation with the Turkish government and reduce the diplomatic representation due to its military operation in northern Syria which the Turkish government says it aims to dismantle “Kurdish terrorist groups” and to establish a safe zone at a depth of 30 kilometres from the Turkish border with Syria.
