Deputy Defence Minister Abdulsalam Al-Zoubi met with Turkish Defence Minister Yaşar Güler in Ankara on Monday to discuss strengthening military cooperation between the two countries.

The talks focused on enhancing military training programs and adopting modern methods to improve the capabilities of the Libyan army.

During a separate meeting at the Turkish General Staff Headquarters, Al-Zoubi, accompanied by Libyan Ambassador to Turkey Mustafa Al-Qulib and military officials, discussed joint efforts in military training and development.

The delegation also visited the Special Forces Command, where they were briefed on the training and equipment used by the Turkish Special Forces, highlighting the continued military collaboration between Libya and Turkey.
